KATE COLEMAN
Office Manager/Bookkeeper/Real Estate Paralegal
Kate, who came to Jacksonville in 2015 from her hometown in Oklahoma, began to pursue an accounting education and a bookkeeping career following her high school graduation in 2011. Kate joined Starling Law Firm in 2020. She had nearly 10 years of bookkeeping experience and 5 years of experience with new construction and real estate purchasing. Following her employment with the firm, Kate’s real estate and booking knowledge and experience immensely increased culminating in the acquisition of her North Carolina Trust Accounting Certification. Moreover, Kate also specializes in title searches and deed recording. In 2022, Kate became the firm’s Office Manager. Her dedication to the firm and love for detail are why she has decided to have an enduring career at Starling Law Firm.
KYLIE BRYAN
Criminal and Real Estate Paralegal
Kylie is a resident of Jacksonville, North Carolina who graduated from Jacksonville High School. After graduation, she obtained an internship with the Jacksonville Police Department and the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office. Currently, she is finishing a degree in paralegal studies and ultimately hopes to further her education in Law. Kylie’s communication skills and appreciation for detail are what inspired her aspiration towards a legal career. Undoubtedly, her dedication coupled with her ability to multitask and her understanding of different aspects of the law has earned Kylie the success she enjoys as a paralegal at Starling Law Firm.
STEPHANIE LESANE
Real Estate Paralegal
Stephanie is a resident of Jacksonville, North Carolina who has lived here primarily her entire life. Stephanie is married to her husband of 9 years and, together, they moved to Kaiserslautern, Germany, where she worked on base. After returning stateside, she continued her clerical work and began to learn about real estate. Currently, she is obtaining a degree in paralegal studies. Her attentiveness and compassion are attributes she employs daily to assist clients at Starling Law Firm.
SARAH TINSLEY
Real Estate Paralegal
Sarah is originally from Hebron, Indiana, but moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina with her husband in 2021 because of his military career. Sarah has a vast paralegal background and was a paralegal focusing on municipal and estate law for four years at a local law firm in Hebron. Sarah’s ability to quickly grasp new concepts paired with her willingness to learn has quickly made her an effective team member and a great asset to Starling Law Firm.

Seller Document Coordinator
Jennifer, who is originally from Arizona, moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina because of her husband’s military career. Eight years of real estate work has given her a prolific understanding of what clients experience as they engage the real estate market. Jennifer is bilingual and able to assist countless clients from various backgrounds. She strives to provide each client with immense attention and detail as she explains the selling side of a real estate transaction. Her professionalism, passion, and dedication make Jennifer a critical component of Starling Law Firm.
